CEO, Nick Thomas

Nick Thomas

CEO

Nick Thomas is the CEO of PropellWorks.  With more than 25 years in senior management positions in the construction, energy and engineering sectors, Nick has a wealth of senior leadership experience. He’s a specialist in strategic leadership, business transformation, operational delivery and growth. 

Nick is active in the industry and fully committed to improving health and safety wherever possible, leading several businesses to achieve significant improvements. Previously, Nick has led companies in NZ, and overseas, spanning the entire construction value chain - including UGL, Genesis Energy, Transpower and Siemens.

Richard O'Connor

CFO

As Group CFO, Richard is responsible for all the financial and commercial activities of the PropellWorks Group. An experienced CFO, Richard has a wealth of experience in executive teams across the private and public sectors with recent roles at Intergroup, Citycare Water and Watercare.

 

Richard also has significant Governance experience with Iwi-owned asset trusts and the businesses associated with them. 

 

Richard is a director of the subsidiary companies that make up the PropellWorks Group. 

General Manager, Krish Amirthalingam

Krish Amirthalingam

GENERAL MANAGER - STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Krish is a globally experienced senior leader who adds value with a track record of leading and guiding successful turnarounds and ambitious growth strategies and mentoring high-performing teams.

​With an Engineering Degree and MBA, Krish combines engineering experience with extensive business acumen across a broad range of sectors. His diverse experience spans global industry-leading organisations such as FLSmidth, Metso and Schenck Process as well as BARMAC and Fletcher Building in New Zealand.

 

Krish’s expertise includes the development of strategy for key customers, deploying health and safety initiatives, and engaging teams to successfully overcome global and regional challenges without compromising values, financial outcomes, or stakeholder relations.

General Manager - CMS, Narayan Singh

Narayan Singh

GENERAL MANAGER - CMS

Narayan is a proven leader with a track record of delivering projects successfully. He has a wealth of engineering knowledge and experience ensuring financial performance targets are met and maintained, and that resources are efficiently managed. He has also created and led a strong H&S and quality culture with his site teams.

  
Narayan has been with CMS for more than 16 years, continually earning commendation and recognition by excelling at his role.

General Manager - AEC, Wayne Earle

Wayne Earle

GENERAL MANAGER - AEC

Wayne brings extensive experience in logistics and equipment support, and senior leadership experience in manufacturing, maintenance, production and operations management to his role as General Manager of AEC.


He excels at implementing systems, change management, and ensuring ongoing improvement to achieve operational excellence. And he has an ability to effectively manage and engage with people and officials from different cultures, organisations, from ground-level staff to senior leadership.


Wayne takes a proactive approach to planning that includes the development of contingencies that allow AEC to react quickly to changing circumstances and needs.

General Manager - SCS and Bay Sandblasting, Michlle Hulme

Michelle Hulme

GENERAL MANAGER - SCS & BAY SANDBLASTING

Michelle has more than 30 years of business management and finance experience in multi-million-dollar companies in sectors that include engineering, property development, residential construction and commercial business.

 

Michelle brings a fresh outlook, business acumen and clear priority to health and safety, to lead the Bay Sandblasting and SCS teams, drive and grow the businesses, improve company performance and customer satisfaction.
